Eat at Oaxen Slip
Swedish bistro fare, hearty and uncomplicated sharing dishes. Beautiful spot by the water.

This is a given in any Scandi city really and I totally concur - the best way to see the city!
Take an art tour
...on the subway. 90+ of the stations have been decorated with sculptures, mosaics, paintings, installations, & engravings by over 150 artists.
Stay at...
Nobis, Berns, The Bank Hotel, Miss Clara, Ett Hem.
Spend a Saturday around Nytorget
There's a park, a great deli and plenty of bars and restaurants. Don't miss Nytorget 6 & Bar Agrikultur.
Grab a coffee at Snickarbacken 7
Café, exhibition space and a concept store all in one. It's beauitful and does bloody good coffee (and cake).
Shop
The achingly beautiful interiors shops are enough to make you want to completely revamp your home. Grandpa is great for clothes and accessories.
Visit close-by city beach Smedsuddsbadet
A swimming spot at Rålambshov Park. Sandy beach and grassy lawn for sunbathing. Don't miss Boulebar in the park.
Become a cinnamon bun connoisseur
Whilst cycling the city, remember to make pit stops at some bakeries to sample as many kanelbullar as possible.
Sail around the islands
30,000 islands make up the Stockholm Archipelago. There are ferries from the city to some of the nearby ones or you can hire a yacht for a full or half day on the water.
